We’re proud to be able to offer a wide range of Orthopaedic Services.

We are well resourced for small animal orthopaedics and trauma management.

+ VetSouth offer a full range of radiography facilities with X-ray machine and automatic processor.
+ Ultrasound is used to help accurately assess some patients with traumatic injuries
+ Advanced instrumentation that supports a wide range of surgical procedures

The Diagnostic and surgical services that we offer include:

+ Lameness examination
+ Trauma management and high quality care for the injured patient
+ Traditional joint and bone surgery
+ Ligament injury repairs
+ Reduction and casting of broken bones when appropriate
+ Joint fusion (arthrodesis) surgery, most commonly of severely damaged tarsus and carpal joints
+ Radiographic screening for heritable joint diseases such as hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia
