One of our newest members over in the East is the wonderful Hannah! Hannah has taken on the position of Practice Manager for the East, which includes everything from Gore to Tapanui to Clydevale and Balclutha!
As she is settling into her busy role, we took five minutes to catch up with her.
Tell us about your background
I grew up in Dunedin and have always had an interest in working in the animal industry. I studied vet nursing and worked as a companion animal nurse and also at Otago Polytech in the school of Vet Nursing. I have spent the last 5 years working as the Operations Manager for SPCA. I have been working for VetSouth for 6 weeks as the East Practice Manager.
What is your new role at VetSouth and what does it entail?
I am East Practice Manager working with the team I oversee Gore, Tapanui, Clydevale and Balclutha clinics. Working with the great teams in each clinic to support both staff and clients.
What does a perfect weekend look like for you?
The perfect weekend involves heaps of outdoor adventures on my mountain bike with my husband followed by catching up with friends over a glass of wine and a good platter.
A goal for 2022?
A goal for 2022 is to keep learning new skills and finding new ways to push myself outside of my comfort zone.
